Hello, I’m Denise Richards — intuitive reader, energy healer, mentor, author, and guide. My work is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and a deep understanding of the human journey. Above all, I offer a calm, grounded presence where people feel safe to soften, open, and reconnect with themselves.

My Story

My path as an intuitive began in an unexpected and life-changing way.

At the age of 14, I was involved in a serious road accident that left me with a fractured skull and badly damaged legs. During my recovery, something profound opened within me — I began to see and sense the energy field around people.

At first, this felt overwhelming. I did not fully understand what I was seeing or feeling. But over time, I came to recognise this as the awakening of a gift: the ability to read energy, sense emotional patterns, and tune into the deeper soul story behind a person’s life.

This became the foundation of my work as a psychic medium, aura intuitive and tarot reader.

For over 30 years, I have offered professional intuitive readings to clients across the UK, Australia and internationally. My readings combine psychic awareness, intuitive tarot, aura insight and years of experience working with people through life’s turning points.

Based in Portishead, Bristol, and Birmingham, Denise offers her readings remotely via Zoom, WhatsApp, or telephone. For those who prefer an in-person connection, face-to-face sessions are available monthly at the Ash House Spiritual Centre in Birmingham (usually on the last Saturday of the month). During my years in Australia, I read for clients from many walks of life, including public figures, dignitaries, politicians and well-known personalities. In the UK, my background also included work as an intuitive healer at The Cancer Help Centre, of which King Charles was Patron. I was later among a small group invited to St James’s Palace in recognition of the healing work being offered at that time.

These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of intuitive guidance. Whatever someone’s background, title or life situation, we all reach moments when we need clarity, reassurance and a higher perspective.

For me, tarot is not simply about prediction. It is a sacred mirror. It helps reveal what may be hidden beneath the surface, where your energy is flowing, where you may feel blocked, and what your soul may be asking you to understand.
